Prof. Dr. Hans-Werner Gessmann publishes the standard work on systemic family therapy.
Systemic therapy and counselling has not experienced any fundamental paradigm shift in the last twenty years, but numerous innovations in methodology and settings. It has tested itself in new fields of work, developed new approaches to new problems, and dealt with basic research and other approaches to therapy and counselling. In addition to the historical, theoretical and practical basics, the authors take up these developments: Family, organization and network are compared as social systems, and systemic settings from (psycho-)therapy to working with larger systems to coaching, team and organisational counselling are presented.
The book offers the indispensable basic knowledge for students and practitioners in social work, education, health care and pastoral care as well as for persons in management and management consulting.
